Requirement of Project Engineers on Fixed Tenure Basis-
For Installation & Commissioning work of Power Plant Controls

BHEL, the Countrys premier organization and one of the NAVARATNA PSUs, catering to core sectors of Indian economy Viz. Power Generation, Transmission, Industry, Transportation and renewable Energy requires :-
Project Engineers to be engaged on Fixed Tenure Basis for a maximum period of two years for Electronics Division at Bangalore or anywhere in India at their Project Sites. The Requirement details are given below :

No of Vacancies : 10

Upper age limit : 34 years as on 01.09.2011 with 2 years post qualification relevant work experience.

Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate of all the years/semesters from recognized University/ Institution.

Candidates should possess the job specifications as on 30.09.2011.
Candidates not having relevant two year post qualification work experience in areas mentioned under “Experience Requirements” need not apply.
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 200/- is payable by the General and OBC candidates. However SC/ST and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

- Smart zone sensing system with automatic control
The project presented here is a novel approach towards vehicle navigation & safety implementation. As the title suggests, the project is aimed at automatically sensing the areas / zones like “School Zone”, “Hospital zone” or “Accident Zone”.
In convention, these special zones or areas are indicated at the roadside on a pillar or road sign poles.
As an example, near school zone, the sign board displays “School Zone Ahead, Drive Slowly”, or near a hospital, “Hospital Area-Do not Blow Horn”, but in reality rarely this is practices. Drivers go at very high speed as usual near school zone, or operate the harsh horns loudly causing inconvenience to the patients in the hospital.

Project Description : EEG brain topographic system is able to differentiate several kinds of diagnosis including some mental diseases whose biological origin was previously unknown.
Cell phones emitting pulsed high-frequency electromagnetic fields (EMF) may affect the human brain, but there are inconsistent results concerning their effects on electroencephalogram (EEG). We used a 16-channel telemetric electroencephalograph (ExpertTM), to record EEG changes during exposure of human skull to EMF emitted by a mobile phone. Spatial distribution of EMF was especially concentrated around the ipsilateral eye adjacent to the basal surface of the brain. Traditional EEG was full of noises during operation of a cellular phone. Using a telemetric electroencephalograph (ExpertTM) in awake subjects, all the noise was eliminated, and EEG showed interesting changes: We observed the changes in delta, theta, alpha, and beta. These slow waves lasting for about one second repeated every 15-20 s at the same recording electrodes. After turning off the mobile phone, slow-wave activity progressively disappeared; local¬ changes such as increased median frequency decreased and disappeared after 15-20 min.
