Profile of the Candidate/Job :
* Should be proficient in planning, installation, operation and maintenance of a Digital as well as Analog Cable TV Head End.
* Should have knowledge of IPTV distribution.
* Conversant BIS standards for Cable TV and Broadcasting.
* Proficient in testing and fault diagnostice procedures of Digital Cable TV Head End.
* Have knowledge of Servers, Content Storatge, Advt.Ingestion and on Demand services.
* Should be experienced in layout and design of a Hybrid Fiber Co-axial network for broadband services including cable TV and internet.
* Should be proficient in handling Optical equipment like Transmitters, EDFAs, Nodes including carrying out tests and signal measurements.
* Should be experienced in handling splicing machines and fiber-optic cables.
* Should have knowledge of technologies like DOCSIS, GPON, EPON and EoC (Ethernet over Cable)
* Should have worked on CAS, SMS and Billing system.
* Have the experience in tendering for technical equipment and services and procurement procedures.
