C-DAC invites Applications for the posts of Executive Directors

Applications are invited for the posts of Executive Directors in the Pay Band (PB-4) 37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.10000 (plus allowances as per Central Government Rules), to be filled by Direct Recruitment / Transfer (Absorption) / Deputation basis.

There are two posts of the Executive Directors, nominally for its centres in C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuarm and Noida. However, the selected candidates should be willing to take up the assignment of Executive Directors and relocate at any otherC-DAC entres in India, heading the centre.

Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience :
Engineering Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunications or related fields from a recognized University with 20 years of experience in the relevant area.
or
Post-Graduate Engineering Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunications or related fields from a recognized University with 15 years of experience in the relevant area.
or
A Doctorate (Ph.D) in Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunications or related fields from a recognized University with 10 years of experience in the relevant area.

Age : Not more than 50 years as on September 30, 2011 (Age relaxation as per Govt. of India norms shall be applicable).

PROJECT DETAILS
Project Name : “DESIGN AND DEVELPOMENT OF VIVALDI ANTENNA FOR RADAR APPLICATIONS ”
Team Size : 3 members in a group.

Role : Participated as a team member.
Description : The objective of the project is to design and develop a type of UWB compatible travelling wave planar slot antenna called the vivaldi antenna for future RADAR applications in microwave S-band of frequency. The design phase invovles defining the geometry of the antenna and simulating it to meet the needs of parameters specified. This is done using commercial microwave design and simulation CAD tool. Later the antenna was fabricated and the testing phase involved measurements which was compared with simulated results with allowed level of tolerance to finally conclude the work.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
1)Actively participated in competitive exam – 6th International Level SCIENCE TALENT EXAM.
2)Won many prizes in singing competition at school and college level.
