WANTED A DIRECTOR FOR SWAMI VIVEKANAND NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF REHABILITATION TRAINING AND RESEARCH, (SVNIRTAR) P.O.-BAIROI-754010, DIST-CUTTACK, ORISSA

Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India invites applications for the post of Director. Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR), Olatpur, P.O. Bairoi, Dist.Cuttack, Orissa an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Functions and Responsibilities :
To head the apex national level Institute and assume full responsibility for its overall development. To lead a team of professionals in clinical services, training, research and documentation in the area of locomotors disability.

Qualification :
1. Essential :
(i) Master’s Degree in PMR or Orthopaedics or Bio-Medical Engineering with experience in the field of Rehabilitation of persons with locomotors disability or related fields for at least 10 years.
2. Desirable :
(i) Ph.D in a relevant area or published work of equivalent standard.
(ii) Experience of research in the field of rehabilitation.

Pay and allowances : The post is in the Pay Band (P-4) of Rs.37400-67000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- with all allowances at Central Government rates.

Age : Not exceeding 55 years but relaxable as per prevailing rules of the Government.

(i) Cadre Clearance
(ii) Bio-data (in triplicate) as proforma given Annexure-I
(iii) Attested photocopies of ACRs for the last five years.
(iv) Vigilance Clearance
(v) Integrity Certificate and
(vi) Statement giving details of major or minor penalties imposed on the officer if any, during the last 10 years.
