RECRUITMENT OF RETIRED LOCO STAFF ON SERVICE CONTRACT BASIS FOR MALAYSIA PROJECT

IRCON International Limited is a premier Schedule “A” infrastructure Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Railways engaged in the construction of turnkey infrastructure projects in Railways, Highways, Buildings, Power sectors, etc. The Company has recorded a turnover of more than Rs. 3254 crores in the year 2010-11. The Company has successfully completed large value Railway and Highway Projects in India and abroad including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Iraq, Syria, etc.

IRCON invites application from retired loco-staff (Indian railways) for the following posts for posting at Malaysia Project on service contract basis :

Post : Technician/ Mech Diesel Loco
Req. : 6
Eligibility : Retired as Technician Gr. I or Gr. II

Post : Technician/ Elect Diesel Loco
Req. : 4
Eligibility : Retired as Technician Gr. I or Gr. II

Post : Supervisor/ Mechanical Diesel Loco
Req. : 1
Eligibility : Retired as SSE

Post : Supervisor/ Electrical Diesel Loco
Req. : 1
Eligibility : Retired as SSE

How to apply :
1. Application types on A-4 size paper in the format given below should be addressed and sent to Addl. General Manager, IRCON International Limited as per address given in table below accompanied with the self attested photocopies of the following documents :
a) Matriculation certificate (for age proof);
b) Certificate of Technical-qualification (ITI/ Diploma);
c) Pay Pension Order (P.P.O)
d) Service Certificate which was issued by previous employer at the time of superannuation;
e) Address of Vigilance-department of previous employer for collecting Vigilance- clearance;
f) Community Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC) if applicable;

Applicants may send their application in advance by 11.09.2011 or Applicants who consider themselves as eligible should straightway report for walk-in-interview as per the schedule below alongwith application duly filled-in application format. No interview call letters will be issued as this is a walk-in-interview.

2) Title : STAIR CLIMBING ROBOT.
Duration : 1-09-2009 to 2-06-2010.
Description : we have made a robot which can climb up & down the stairs & can also move on uneven surfaces & can perform work which can not be possible for human being to perform such work and in our project we had used spur gear , chain ,an electric motor and an triangular arm. The robot we have created will be able to climb up & down steep slopes and even staircases so this will help the mobility of the robot and thus making the robot more efficient for exploring or even to explore an abandoned building.
But if the user wants to control it, he is able to do so with a joystick and a webcam to aid his viewing.
