Civil Engineering Project Manager :
Job Description :
Direct and manage construction operations, and maintenance activities at project site, as they pertain to building sub-structure, superstructure and general site utilities.
Interact with the general contractor and sub-contractors to monitor progress of construction according to the predefined schedule;Track and close on daily construction priorities.
Ensure conformance of buildings to design specifications and safety standards
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other topographical or geotechnical investigation data to plan projects.
Plan and design civil structures, following construction and government standards
Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
CAREER GROWTH : Position can evolve into site Facilities Engineering and/or Maintenance Management position
Skills Required :
Excellent communication skills (presentation, written, verbal) of both technical and non-technical issues
Excellent project managerial skills to manage day-to-day activities of various contractors and consultants
Desirable : Prior experience in industrial or commercial construction project management ; familiarity with 'MS Project'
Education and Experience Required :
8+ years experience in a related job
BE degree in civil Engineering is required.
MS degree in Civil engineering is preferred.
Experience and/or education in mechanical engineering a plus.

Mechanical Engineer : (Site Project Engineer)
Job Description :
Construction Project Engineering leadership overseeing facilities systems design and installation
- Primarily : Process Cooling Water (PCW), HVAC, clean room, Plumbing, CDA, and Fire Sprinkler systems.
- Working closely with OEM, General Contractor, and Gas Supplier Project design teams to make certain design is
per applicable codes and standards
- Track, manage change, and close design issues
- Verify installations are per design specifications
- Support subcontractor selection process
Initiate Facilities Systems Maintenance and Management Programs
- Technical owner for Facility Management System (FMS)
- Technical Support for Facilities Maintenance to assure proper PM implementation
Sustaining project management (post-production activities)
- Special projects/activities with contractors

Skills Required :
Possesses strong team building and uses business and technical expertise to develop collaborative solutions. Proven team leadership and people development skills are highly desirable

Capable of influencing internal decision makers to make decisions aligned with strategies and objectives benefiting the entire organization
Strong technical capability in variety of mechanical systems.
Strong knowledge of construction project management;
PLUS : Experience in Single Window Clearance, and FMS implementation.
Education and Experience Required :
A BS with more than 10 years of combined mechanical engineering and construction project management (site level facilities engineering a PLUS)
Contractor/Subcontractor management experience is required; both construction and sustaining.
Minimum 3 years experience with manufacturing operations and related facilities support is desired
