- Verifying Installed services on the Linux servers using respective console like Putty, VMware, and ILO.
- Performing Reboot Test for Linux, ESX, VMware servers in order to validate the uptime and quality of servers.
- Testing NBU backups using VERITAS Net backup and Avamar Net Backup tool.
- Verifying Data base entries of the servers using IEDs, WITT DB, CMDB tools,
- Co coordinating with builder, VPMO PL, PSA, BSA, UCS, Application, NBU teams to live the server within 11 business days of SLA through the communicating tools like MS out look, Q enterprise messenger, Net Meeting,
- Requesting Scans for the IPs using SStracker and DPCT tool.
- Creating change request (CR) for go-live of the servers to get maintenance and monitoring after deployment using BMC remedy user,
- Monitoring and verifying defect logs and identifying defect alarms by BMC Patrol,
- Verification and implementation of new features and tools,
- Notifying everyone once servers are live officially using web PPM tool,
- Preparing schedules for work, attending and chairing various conference calls, to track project status and management reviews within the project,
- Providing KT to new team members regarding project and process flow,
- Training to team members for verifying Unix and LINUX servers and also for the new features added in the project,
