    WORK EXPERINCE :
    - During over 19 years has been carrying out engineering geological/ geo-technical investigation of river valley projects to locate various components such as Dam, Power House (underground), Tunnels (HeadRace Tunnel), RailwayTunnels in the Indian State of J&K, Sikkim,& Uttrakhand, also I have been involved in Geological exploration of iron ore mining at Bailadila iron ore project (Chattisgarh)
    The geo-technical investigations/geological exploration include :-
    - Prime facie appraisal of the sites/ alignment for dam, tunnels / underground powerhouse, road etc by carrying out detail geological mapping.
    - Geological investigation carried out in three phases as.
    - -Pre construction exploration
    - -Construction stage investigations and
    - -Post construction monitoring
    - Detailed Field Survey using various techniques as
    - -Drifting
    - -Drilling
    - -Core logging
    - -Geophysical field test
    - -Insitu tests
    -
    - Rock mass characterization for hydraulic tunnels based on the RMR “Q” value/ NGI & NATM classification.
    - Day to day monitoring of excavations, characterization and classification of Rock mass vis-à-vis support system, dam foundation preparation and Slope stability analysis.
    - Protection measures using latest means like shot Crete, reinforced shot crate, rock bolts, anchors etc.
INDULGED IN AND WORKED OUT PROJECTS :
    -
    1) Tapovan VishnuGad HydroPower Project-520MW :
    2) Job responsibility :
    3) I have been instrumental in performing number of geological functions, such as (a) Pre-construction Geological exploration-Explorations were done over a vast area of project site, the tunnels, power house cavern & barrage were located with an insight in to the associated problems & probable solutions for the construction engineers. Tunnel alignment/tunnel portal were identified, Investigation were done to further develop the basic idea by providing the desired data base for planning & executing the project successfully. Subsurface geological features of engineering importance as bedding planes, fault/folds, joints/shear, tracing of the exposures, their trends on and below the ground ,dips, strikes by observation/estimation. Map of the area were prepared and a geological cross section along the tunnel alignment were generated. Further Detail field study were carried out such as drifting, drilling, core logging, geophysical tests, aerial survey, laboratory tests, insitu tests, engineering geological modeling and hydrological studies were carried out.
    4) (b).Construction stage Investigation :- Three D Logging were done to record the actual geological features on scale 1:100 or 1:200,the investigation were aimed at determining the actual rock condition. Q&,RMR were calculated & the data were utilize in re assessing Q & RMR FOR further designing purpose in balance of tunnel driving. INSTRUMENTATION:-To have a better understanding of rock mass behavior affecting the tunnel stability and support competence instruments as MPBX, LOAD CELL PRESSURE CELL & TCP installed.
    5) c)Post Construction investigation :-In the Himalayan region tectonic movements are believed to be going on, they are very slow, such movement are to be measured. at this stage its essential to know the behavior of tunnel during operation. Instruments were installed during construction to monitor rock pressure and deformations.
    6) Thus Tapovan HEP has reached at ADVANCE stage of completion. The project is having 11.8Km long Head Race Tunnel out which 8.0Km tunneling is being carried out by TBM & 3.8km by Road Header/DBM, Power House & Barrage EXEUTION IS COMPLETED.

Construction stage-face log, 3-D log, Shear Zone Mapping & Treatment, rock mass classification by RMR rating, comparing postulates with the realities. confined to the area of main project activity. The data revealed were utilized to effect rationalized correction in construction designs and the construction process. Post Construction investigation were carried out to assess how the project components are behaving and is they departure from the forecast made.
RANGIT HEP-Boot project of Gammon India’s under DPR Approval stage, was involved in Pre-construction Geological exploration.
3)BAGLIHAR HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT (900MW)J&K & IRCON RAILWAY PROJECT (PEERPANJAL J&K), DUL-HASTI HYDRO ELCTRIC PROJECT (390 MW) :
