Manager - Business Development :
Location : Based at Bangalore (involves travel across India)
Salary : Will be based on the qualification and experience of the candidate.
Job Description :
This is a sales and market development function. It is to generate new business opportunities for Greycaps School Programs. Greycaps has a range of interesting, unique, engaging programs for Schools. The main responsibility of incumbent is to identify market opportunities, acquire new customers and also service existing customers.
Qualifications :
A candidate for a Business Development position requires BBM/MBA, with 2-4 years experience in Sales/Business Development. Outstanding freshers will be considered for the position of 'Executive'.
Competencies and Tasks :
Able to spearhead Business Development efforts individually.
Identify new approaches, new markets and new added sales, new schools for the Global Awareness Program and other school initiatives. Gross addition and average numbers along with sales and collection targets.
Able to initiate and implement new ideas to increase sales-New added Sales. Ability to anticipate, identify issues, solve them.
Support sales initiatives with preparation of co-laterals etc
Support events, clubs, Fests at School level.
Build and manage relationships with Heads of Institutions, coordinators of the Program.
Maintain the Business Development databases
Key Result Areas :
Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually.
Identify new approaches, new markets and new added sales, new schools for the Global Awareness Program. Gross addition and average numbers along with sales and collection targets.
Able to initiate and implement new ideas to increase sales-New added Sales. Ability to anticipate, identify issues, solve them.
Plan and visit new market systematically with a sales approach.
Identify and appoint channel partners for sales, driving sales through channel partners.
Support sales initiatives with preparation of co-laterals etc.
Support events, clubs, Fests at School level.
