Technical Account Manager :
Technical Lead and New Opportunities Expert. The Technical Account Manager will develop a complete understanding all the technical aspects of a sales opportunity. Conducts and manages trial evaluations for prospective customers. Develops and delivers technical presentations and product demonstrations. Responds to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from prospective customers. Presents to interested engineers and engineering management at prospective customers. Communicates with customers, prospects, partners, and the Company to aid in the development of new products and features that meet customer needs more effectively.
Technical Account Management. Provides consistent, proactive, technical leadership and expertise to ensure the success of the initial implementation and integration at a new customer. Measures and maintains customer satisfaction, while driving each account to enterprise-wide adoption
Requirements :
Proactive attitude, and a desire to drive to a technical win with new customers
Relationship building skills and the ability to cultivate technical champions within our customer base
Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Team player with a customer-focused attitude
Five to ten years of technology experience (in software or development tools) as a Sales Engineer, Software Engineer, Development Manager or Project Manager
Must have developed a significant piece of software in C, C++, or Java, ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 year of experience as a software developer
BS or MS in computer science or engineering, or related field
Strong knowledge in both Unix and Windows platforms
Basic knowledge of build systems (make, jam), source code control systems (Perforce, Clear Case, CVS), and bug tracking systems (Bugzilla)
The ability to travel 25-50% in support of sales activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
