Filling up of the post of Secretary-Cum-Controller of Examinations in the pay scale of PB- 4 (Rs. 37400-67,000+ GP-8700) (Director level) in SSC (Hqtrs), New Delhi, on deputation basis

Eligibility criterion for the post of Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations, SSC

Name of the post : Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations

Scale of Pay : Rs. PB-4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000+ GP-Rs. 8700/-)

Ministry/Department : Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi

Eligibility :
Officers of the Central (including officers of All India Services and Central Group ‘A’ Services :
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with 5 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of 15,600-39,100/- (PB-3)+ Grade Pay – Rs.7600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department ; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience :-
(i) Masters' Degree from a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) Seven years’ experience in Administration, Vigilance and Financial Matters Period of deputation
Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex- cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or in some other organization/ department of the Central Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.

Age-Limit : The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding fifty six years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.`
