RECRUITMENT NOTICE

Application are invited for the post of Asst. Light keeper ( Jr. Scale) in the office of the Director(Regional), Directorate of Lighthouses and Lightships, Port Blair.

1. Name of the Post :- Assistant Light keeper ( Jr. Scale )

2. No. of vacancy :- 02 (Two) (Un-reserved)

3. Scale of Pay :- Rs.5200-20200 in pay band PB-1, Grade Pay Rs.2400 plus other allowances as admissible

4. Qualification :- Diploma in Electronics or Communication or Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics or a combination of above from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification.

5. Age Limit :- 18 -27 Years .Age relaxation for–

6. Place of posting :- Presently at Port Blair, but liable for transfer any where in India, including Lakshadeep Island.

7. Nature of duties :-Carrying out watch keeping duties at
Lighthouse/D.G.P.S.
Stations, for the satisfactory operation of
Navigation system/Equipment/ machinery etc.,
including repairs & maintenance of the same.

8. Last date of the submission of Application complete in all respects. :- 15-09-2011
