Desired Candidate Profile :
1-3 years of experience in a voice based technical support profile.
Sound Knowledge of Trouble Shooting in MS Office, Windows OS, Internet Explorer, Outlook, networking issues, anti-virus, software support, application support, registry issues.
Good understanding of ticketing and remote connect tools.
Awareness of PC hardware environment, printers, fax and scanners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to listen to a caller explain the incident, determine the probable cause, and logically take the caller through a step-by-step problem determination procedure, using telephone support.
Ability to categorize an incident correctly for call tracking and logging purposes.
Job Description :
Provide first - level technical support on basic operational or maintenance of personal computers and /or peripherals using available tools.
Guide customer troubleshooting efforts to identify products that have customer Issues and issue service calls in accordance with guidelines.
Escalate problems when unable to resolve customer issues.
Log and sufficiently document all contacts with customers in designated tools.
Identify and provide input on unique or recurring customer problems.
