Job Description :
Candidate will be part of core architecture team and will be responsible for all aspects of product
architecture and design of a large and complex telecom grade IT/Web 2.0 product / service. He
will be responsible for all aspects of design including quality, scalability, availability, deployment
and maintainability aspects of the product. He should be hands-on and skilled in using the latest
tools, technologies and patterns in open source domain and agile methodology to evolve and
build complex products and services for multi-screen devices including mobile, tablet, laptop and
IPTV.
Position Requirements :
1. Minimum of 9 years of experience in large product development in New Generation Services
based on Web 2.0 Architecture / IT / Telecom and/or Multimedia domain.
2. An ideal candidate should have undertaken at least couple of large projects/products right from
concept to delivery and be involved in each stage of the project/product. He must be involved in
all the steps of SDLC. He must be comfortable working using Agile, Increment and Iterative
and/or Waterfall lifecycle on project to project basis.
3. Able to think out-of-box and come up with new innovative ideas in-line with company's vision
and mission.
4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills in Java, J2EE, Android, iOS and C/C++. Expert in
Unix/Linux/Win OS and Multi-threaded programming concepts.
5. Expert in OOAD, Design Patterns, Distributed Architectures, UML, Design Tools like [StarUML,
MS Visio etc.].
6. Expert in identification, doing Proof of Concept and finalization of open source frameworks on
varied technologies.
7. Conversant in Telecom Domain Knowledge - SIP, Diameter, RTP, RTSP, IMS, LTE.
8. Expert in Java, J2EE frameworks and open source technologies.
9. Strong focus on quality deliverables with knowledge of quality processes, standards,
measuring quality and benchmarking.
10. Excellent team player, communication skills and ability to graspconcepts quickly.
Functional Area :
* Able to analyze, articulate, explore and propose industry standard solutions and architectures
for a given set of problem with industry standard products as benchmark along with their
comparison.
* Able to resolve complex problems with ease and is able to guide team through the entire
SDLC.
* Able to innovate and invent new Value Added Services and propose concrete ideas to
management for implementation.
* Able to identify and reuse existing open source components and should be in position to
enhance it, if required.
