Database Administrator :
Job Profile :
Design and implement scalable and robust schemas.
Database Normalisation and optimization.
Database backup and recovery.
Required Skills :
3-4 years experience in Oracle or similar databases.
PL/SQL and RMAN.
Linux / Unix working experience.
Nice to have :
Experience with cluster environment.
Knowledge of RAIDs and hardware.

System Administrator :
As a system administrator in our medium-size operation, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and growth of the high-performance, secure and high-traffic environment.
Job Profile :
Install / configure desktops and servers.
Install / configure LAMP environment.
Realtime troubleshooting and supporting the engineering team in software / hardware issues.
Documenting the production operations.
Required Skills :
2-3 years experience working with Linux / Unix environment.
Strong knowledge of Networking, Firewall, VOIP and VPNs.
Experience working with LAMP based applications.
Experience installing / configuring web servers, apache is a plus.
Nice to have :
Good knowledge of scripting languages like PHP, Perl and Javascript.
Good knowledge of rdbm systems such as MySQL (tuning experience a plus).
Good knowledge of backup procedures or experience with common backup systems like Veritas.
Good understanding of caching tools such as memcache.
Experience with versioning systems like CVS or SVN.
