The Institute is looking for competent persons for the post of REGISTRAR to be filled either on DIRECT RECRUITMENT or on DEPUTATION ON FOREIGN SERVICE TERMS:

    Post : Registrar - 01 Post

    Pay Structure : Pay Band – 4 i.e `37400-67000 with Grade Pay `10000/-

    Essential Qualification : A Post Graduate Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

    Experience :
    At least 15 years of Experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of `7000 and above or with 08 years of service in the AGP of `8000 and above along with experience in Educational Administration
    or
    Comparable experience in Research Establishments and other Institution of Higher education
    or
    15 years of Administrative Experience in an University/R&D Institution/ Government/ Autonomous body fully funded by the Govt., of which at least 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in Pay Band-3 i.e. `15600-39100 with Grade Pay `7600/- (pre-revised scale of `12000-16500/18300) or above.

    Desirable : Degree in Law/Management. Experience in personnel management, industrial relations, campus management and other aspects of administration preferably in a large educational or R&D institution and the ability to enhance and sustain computerized administration with innovation. Proven qualities and all round ability to co-ordinate and lead a team of officers with a variety of expertise

    Job Description : Registrar shall report to the Associate Director/Director and will be in over-all charge of administration of the Institute and will provide administrative support to the Associate Director/Director. The Registrar is Ex-officio Secretary of the Court, Council, Finance Committee, Senate, Board of Trustees and of the Committees appointed by the authorities and may also be called up on to take up other duties assigned by the Associate Director/Director.

    Age : Around 50 years. Relaxable in exceptional cases at the discretion of the competent authority

    CENTRAL SILK BOARD is a government of India concern, which monitors and promotes sericulture research and development activities in the country as well as the export silk trade in India.
    1. CENTRAL SILK BOARD, BANGALORE, INDIA (1985 to-date) :
    Presently working as Deputy Secretary (Tech) since 2003 (Basic pay Rs 33,450/- in the scale 15,600 – 39100 GP Rs 6,600). Total emoluments per annum – Rs 7,50,000/-
    Project monitoring : Independently working as sectional in-charge of the non-mulberry desk looking after the non-mulberry research and developmental programmes. Duties include mainly project appraisal, monitoring, evaluation, technical report preparation etc.. Planning and review of non-mulberry seed production programmes, technical documentation. Actively involved in preparing Plan documents. Implementation of price stabilisation scheme for vanya.
