    RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR

    ISRO HEADQUARTERS, Bangalore invites application for recruitment to the posts of Junior Hindi Translator in the Pay Band of `9300-34800 with Grade Pay `4200/- for posting at various DOS/ISRO Centres/Units as indicated below:

    Educational Qualification :
    MA in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at Degree level. OR
    MA in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject at Degree level. OR
    MA in any subject with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at Degree level. OR
    Bachelor`s Degree with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject plus a recognized Diploma Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Govt Offices, including Govt of India undertakings.

    Age Limit : 35 years as on 18.08.2011 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates).

    How to apply : The advertisement alongwith application format will be hosted in the ISRO website @ www.isro.gov.in between 29.07.2011 and 18.08.2011 The candidates who fulfill the above eligibility criteria may visit ISRO website @ www.isro.gov.in and download the application format. The duly filled in application, affixing a recent passport size colour photograph at the place provided in the application, along with attested copies of all certificates/testimonials may be sent to Sr. Administrative Officer, ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore- 560 231 superscribing on the envelop “Application for the post of Junior Hindi Translator”. The application should reach ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore on or before 25.08.2011. Applications received after due date or without all certificates/testimonials will not be considered for any reasons. Those who are already in employment under Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel. Those who intend to apply for the post of Jr Hindi Translator in Antrix Corporation Ltd in addition to positions available in ISRO Centres/Units may indicate their choice in the prescribed column in the application.
