PROJECT DETAIL :

Project title : “Solar Charger Kit for Electrical Bikes”
As the sources of conventional energy are depleting day by day, resorting to alternative sources of energy like solar energy is need of the hour.
We have actually designed a charge controller kit which provides features like Voltage regulator, reverse current flow protection for solar panels & Overcharge protection, Deep discharge protection, Overheating protection Red/Green LED for Charge/Float indication for batteries.
The solar panels are mounted on the electric bike with mechanical supports given from bike itself and tilted at particular angle such that we can get maximum intensity of sunrays. The solar panels are foldable type, which can be used under parking conditions.
Solar panels are directly connected to the charge controller circuit. Here charge controller circuit operates only if the output of panels exceeds 12v. Charge controller stabilizes the input voltage from panels and the output of Charge controller is given to a reserve battery which stores the charges from solar panels. A converter circuit is connected across reserve battery which converts 12V to 230V DC supply. The output from this converter i.e. 230 volts DC is given to regular charger of electric bike which finally charges the main batteries of the vehicle.

Utilization of agricultural residues is often difficult due to their uneven and troublesome characteristics. The process of compaction of residues into a product of higher density than the original raw material is known as densification or briquetting.

There are several methods available for densifying biomass. Screw press briquetting is a popular densification method suitable for small- scale application in developing countries. The raw material from the hopper is conveyed and compressed by a screw in screw press briquetting.
