Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Science & Technology, is a premier scientific and industrial research having state-of-the-art infrastructure and scientific and technical manpower of repute. Applications are invited from Ex-servicemen for filling up one post of Security Officer and one post of Security Assistant/Watch & Ward Assistant in this Office as per details given below:-

1. POST : - Security Officer - 1 Post (Unreserved)
Pay Scale : - Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade pay Rs. 4600/- plus allowances as per central Govt. rules
Essential Qualifications : - Ex-Servicemen - Short Service Commissioned Officer or Assistant Commandant from CRPF/BSF/ITBP etc. in the scale of 8000-13500 (pre-revised) with 05 years experience OR JCO (Subedar or higher rank) OR equivalent rank in other para-military forces with minimum of 10 years experience in security.
Job Requirement :- Will be responsible for overall supervision & maintenance of day-to-day security of the office premises, Guest Houses, Scientist Apartments etc. of CSIR Hqrs. and handling other related tasks like intelligence, vigilance, fire fighting and safety standards of estate & building, residential quarters, office premises, guest house etc. of the campuses Desirable:- Graduation with good verbal & written communication skill with knowledge of computers and modern fire fighting and security monitoring systems.
Age Limit : - Not more than 35 years as on 05.08.2011.

2. POST : - Security Assistant/Watch & Ward Assistant - 1 Post (Unreserved)
Pay Scale : - Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) +Grade pay Rs. 4200/- plus allowances as per central Govt. rules
Essential Qualifications : - JCO in Army OR other para-military forces with minimum of 5 years experience in the work of security.
Job Requirement :- Will be responsible for day-to-day security of the office premises of CSIR Complex, Pusa, Guest Houses, Scientist Apartments etc. of CSIR Hqrs. and handling other related tasks like intelligence, vigilance, fire fighting and safety standards of estate & building, residential quarters, office premises, guest house etc. of the campuses Desirable:- Good verbal & written communication skill with knowledge of computers and modern fire fighting and security monitoring systems.
Age Limit : - Not more than 28 years as on 05.08.2011.

Requests for issue of application forms by post received after 28.07.2011 will not be entertained.
