Applications are invited for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, which are being recruited on Regular / Lien period basis in the School of Computational Sciences, Education, Social Sciences (Sub-Centre, Latur ), Social Sciences (University Campus), Technology (Sub-centre, Latur), Mathematical Sciences (Mathematics & Statistics), Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Language & Literature [English & Foreign Languages], Management (Sub- Centre, Latur), Media Studies [Mass Communication & Journalism and Library Science] and Pharmacy of this University. Prescribed Application Form, Educational Qualifications, Reservation, Specializations, Pay Scales and other details are available on www.srtmun.ac.in and www.maharashtra.gov.in, websites, respectively.

The application in prescribed form in five sets should reach before 5.00 p.m. on 5th August, 2011.

Pay Scale :
(1) Professor – Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10000
(2) Associate Professor - Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9000
(3) Assistant Professor – Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 6000

Prescribed Application Form along with other additional information is available on University website (www.srtmun.ac.in) & Government of Maharashtra website (www.maharashtra.gov.in). The candidate should attach a Demand draft Rs. 600/- (for Unreserved posts) and Rs. 300/- (for reserved posts) [non-refundable] of nationalized bank drawn in favour of “Registrar, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded” payable at Nanded.

Candidates should send the application in the prescribed form with all attested relevant enclosures in 5 (five) sets only, to reach the Registrar, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Vishnupuri, Nanded-431 606 (Maharashtra) on or before 5th AUGUST, 2011 at 5.00 p.m.

About us :
The Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University was established at Nanded by bi-furcating the Marathwada University, Aurangabad on 17th September 1994, the day on which in 1948 Hyderabad State was liberated from rule of the Nizam. Nanded is a district headquarters as well as a holy city situated on the banks of Godavari River in southeastern part of Maharashtra state. Nanded is directly approachable by road and train from Aurangabad (270 km) and Hyderabad (270 km), Nagpur (350 km), Mumbai (600 km) and Delhi (1700 km). Weekly three flights run between Mumbai and Nanded.
