Applications are invited for filling up of the post of Stenographer (Grade-III) through direct recruitment/deputation in the ICSSR. Details of the vacant post are as follows:

Name of the Post : Stenographer (Grade-III)

Vacant Post : 8 (SC-1, OBC-3, GEN-4)

Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 2400 and other allowances as per Government Rules.

Direct Recruitment : Qualifications/Experience
Essentials :
1. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of recognized board.
2. Shorthand and Typing Speed of 80/40 w.p.m. or equivalent speed on computer.
Desirable :
1. A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with experience of working in Government or Educational institutions.
2. Working knowledge of word processing.
Deputation : Persons working under the Central or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or Autonomous bodies, preferably from research organizations:
a) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department;
or b) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 1800 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.

Age Limit : Below 28 years
Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Government Guidelines.
