The Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR), established in 1965, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) engaged in the Research & Development in the areas of Environmental Toxicology, Predictive Toxicology, Health Risk Assessment, Preventive Toxicology, Inhalation Toxicology, Analytical Toxicology, and also National S&T Missions. IITR has two campuses; the main campus is located at the centre of Lucknow City and the other campus at a distance of approx. 20 km from the main campus.

The institute is looking for talented young professionals and dynamic personnel for the post of Technical Assistant. Accordingly, the Application on the prescribed forms is invited from Indian Nationals for the following positions:-

Technical Assistant : 14 posts (07 UR, 05 OBC, 01 SC & 01 PH)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800/-; Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (PB-2)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : - 1st class B.Sc. (Science) with Zoology as one of the subjects with one year full time professional qualification in Zoology from a recognized Institute/Organization or 1st class B.Sc. (Science) with Medical laboratory technology (MLT) with one year full time professional qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology/ Laboratory techniques from a recognized Institute/Organization.

ESSENTAIL QUALIFICATIONS : 10 + 2 with Science subjects followed by 1st class Diploma in Computer Engineering of 3 years full time duration (2/2.5 years full time duration in cases of lateral admission after 10+2) or its equivalent.

Description : Non-Destructive Testing is the Qualified test for the Solid Motor which is used for the Satellite Launch Vehicle. Tangential Radiography & Horizontal Radiography are the two methodologies used for the above process. LINAC Handling System, Film Positioning System (FPS) & End Support System are the system involved for the Non-Destructive Testing. FPS is controlled by Three-Phase Induction Motor. These motors are functioning as per the signals coming from Field Sensors, VFD Drives & PLC’s.

Title : Power Quality Improvement with the help of Zig-Zag Transforme
-r & VSC based DSTATCOM.
Platform : MATLAB Simulink.
Description : A new Three-Phase Four-Wire Distribution Static Compensator (DSTATCOM) based on a Zig-Zag Transformer and a Three-Leg Voltage Source (VSC) is suggested for Power Quality Convalesces. DSTATCOM is used for compensate the currents in Three-Phase Lines and Zig-Zag Transformer is used for mitigate the Zero Sequence currents in neutral conductor.
