CND248 - C++ or C# Development :
For Statistical and Clinical Operations Software Product Development, we are strengthening our team with more Programmers, Programming Leads and Project Managers. The product development team is engaged in :
Statistical, Simulation and Optimization 'engine' code development in C++
GUI development of Desktop and Enterprise applications with C#.Net and related technologies
Producing globally leading products like StatXact, East, SiZ, Compass, and a growing further list. See information on Cytel Products.
Current positions require at least 2 years' programming experience in at least one of C++ and C#, with Microsoft Technologies. Educational Background in Statistics is a special advantage.

CAT249 - Testing and Quality Assurance :
At Cytel, the Testing and QA function is critically important and different from that in many software companies. The QA team is engaged in :
Statistical testing and validation of the engines and algorithms - many without an existing product comparison, as they are pioneering, first-ever implementations!
Contributing to technical documentation of algorithms and engines, even before development begins
Developing and Implementing test plans and test cases. Developing and running test scripts in automated environments
Testing deployment and functioning in a variety of environments
Current positions require prior experience in either GUI testing and automation scripts, or in Statistical Software environment.

CSP246 - Clinical SAS® Programming :
Opportunities exist at these levels - Programmer, Senior Programmer, Lead and Manager. A sizeable and growing team of Clinical SAS Programming is engaged in :
Providing services to several top global Pharma and Biotech companies
Programming Tables, Listings, Figures; for Phases I, II, III; in several therapeutic areas
Developing Macro Libraries
Developing Productivity Enhancement Tools
Providing CDISC Migration and Validation support
Current positions require at least 2 years' Clinical SAS Programming experience.

CBS247 - Biostatistics :
Opportunities exist at these levels - Statistician, Senior Statistician, Lead and Manager. The Cytel team services several global and Indian Pharma companies, and also a global FMCG giant. The team performs the following functions :
Developing Statistical Analysis Plans
Providing sample size computation consultancy; evaluating alternative scenarios
Providing statistical support for regulatory submission and queries
Carrying out Statistical Analysis for Safety and Efficacy
Creating tables and graphs, and writing interpretative reports
Current positions require Ph. D. or M. Sc. in Statistics and at least 2 years' work experience.

To mentor the growing team of 25+ Clinical SAS® Programmers, the ideal person would have 10+ years' experience in SAS Programming function in a global CRO or Pharma in USA or Europe. Familiarity with western professional and cultural context makes this person well-prepared for client engagement with demanding sponsors and highly professional teams on both sides. This is an expert technical position and not a managerial position, with outstanding SAS expertise and willingness to work first-hand on trouble-shooting and mentoring for a young but highly competent SAS programming team.
Occasional overseas travel will be required for client meetings, presentations, and support to Business Development.
This position reports to Head of Indian Operations, with a dotted line to the VP of Services based out of Cambridge, MA.
The compensation for this position will be international standard, considerably surpassing contemporary salary for similar profiles in India. This could be an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to relocate back to India after a long stint overseas.
