Description : The main aim of the project is to track the vehicles when it is theft or to know the status of vehicle. The project includes Micro controller, GPS, GSM and keyboard. Microcontroller act as an interface between GPS, GSM and keyboard. The project has two modes of operation 1) Stop Mode and 2) Tracking Mode. In STOP Mode the device will monitor the Vehicle status (Longitude and Latitudes, Doors, Ignition etc.). If there is any change in current status it will send an SMS to the vehicle owner. While the vehicle is moving it’ll automatically switch into tracking Mode and gets the GPS data and sends as a SMS message to the particular Base station, and also logs data into data flash memory if GSM network fails. The latitude, longitude, speed, direction will be displayed in LCD. User can configure the system with the keypad attached to it or through serial port.

Description: Lightning is defined as a transient, high-current electric discharge whose path is generally measured in Kilometers. Lightning occurs when some region of the atmosphere attains an electric charge sufficiently large that the electric fields associated with the large cause electrical breakdown of the air. In the atmospheric electrical discharge, a leader of a bolt of lightning can travel at speeds of 60,000m/s, and can reach temperatures approaching 30,000°C, hot enough to fuse silica sand into glass channels known as fulgurites which are normally hollow and can extend some distance into the ground.
