Advertisement for recruitment of 4 Medical Officers

Applications are invited for filling up 4 posts of Medical Officer in the scale of pay of Rs. 20600-46500/- by direct recruitment. 2 posts are reserved for OBC candidates and 1 for PWD (OA/OL). The job involves sitting, standing, bending, walking, manipulation by fingers, seeing, reading, writing and communication and is suitable for Persons with Disability(PWD) of one arm/ one leg(OA/OL).

Qualification and experience required for the post are as follows :-
Essential :
(i) MBBS Degree or equivalent.
(ii) Full term of House Appointmentship in the Indoor Wards of a First Grade Hospital including the job of Resident Senior House Surgeon/Physician.
Desirable :
(i) 2 years experience in a First Grade Hospital after graduation.
(ii) A post graduate degree (MD, MS, DNB or higher qualification) from a recognized university in Anaesthesia, General Medicine and Orthopaedics.
Age :
Not exceeding 35 years as on 1st June, 2011 (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD)
Pay :
Minimum emoluments in the beginning of the scale of pay of Rs. 20,600-46,500 will be approximately Rs. 35,000/- per month, excluding NPA @ 25% of basic and other admissible allowances. The incumbent will also be entitled to Cafeteria Allowance (presently 45% of basic + NPA), LTC, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, Medical benefits for self and dependent family members and coverage under New Pension Scheme.
