PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES :
Building Intranet and Extranet portals and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint technologies
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage and develop intranet projects
Manage branding for intranet and extranet applications
Develop web-parts, sub-sites, and other various SharePoint components
Promote SharePoint as a collaboration tool
Maintain code and documentation
Work with end users to ensure a quality product
EXPERIENCE :
2 years minimum web development experience required
Proficiency in .NET, Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer
Proficiency in C#, XSLT, CSS, HTML, IIS
Demonstrate a basic understanding of Object Oriented Programming
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply various programming techniques and processes

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES :
Design and implement an appropriate portal solution that aligns with Companies vision. She or he will be required to take the lead in defining governance around SharePoint that will provide architectural authority on best practices, delivery model for implementation of an effective portal
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Designs, develops, customizes and integration of efforts in SharePoint solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, and Business Process and Forms
Facilitate design sessions provide technical leadership for solution development, guiding design/development activities and reviewing product deliverables for functional, performance and architectural conformance
Highly-developed analysis skills in consulting to identify business and technical requirements and formulate solutions to complex business problems
EXPERIENCE :
MCTS certifications in Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) configuration and/or development preferred.
5+ years related Information Technology experience required that includes deployment and development with Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS)
Should be able to Architect SharePoint solutions including planning Security, Performance, Integration, and Server Configuration.
In-depth understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, SharePoint Designer 2007, and Microsoft Visual Studio capabilities, web development (.ASP .NET, HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, IIS)
Experience in Microsoft Performance Point and Creation of InfoPath forms.
Experience in Web server configuration and architecture
Demonstrated experience coding ASP.NET applications and deploying those solutions in a SharePoint environment.
Experience consulting or leading the technical design of SharePoint applications
Building Intranet and Extranet portals and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint
Converting existing content, sites, and services into SharePoint 2007
Building features, Web parts, etc. for SharePoint
Experience in developing solutions using Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Business Data Catalog, Excel Services, Workflow integration
Experience with portals, searches, content management systems, and business process
