Filling up of two posts of Deputy Industrial Advisers(Group ‘A’ Gazetted) in PB-2(Rs.15600-39100)+Rs.6600/-(Grade Pay) in the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals on deputation (including short-term contract).

It is requested that the post may be widely circulated among all the Organizations/Institutions under your control and applications (in triplicate) in the proforma as Annexure-II from eligible and interested officers, who can be spared immediately on selection may please be forwarded to the undersigned so as to reach this Department within 45 days of the publication of the Vacancy Circular in the employment News.

1. Name of post : Deputy Industrial Adviser

2. Classification : General Central Service Group ‘A’ Gazetted.

3. Scale of pay : PB-2(Rs.15600-39100)+Rs.6600/-

4. Method of Recruitment : On deputation basis (including short-term contract).

5. Field of eligibility : Officers under the Central/State Govts./Research Institutions, etc.

6. Eligibility conditions :
(a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or
(ii) with 3 years regular service in Grade pay of Rs.5400/- or 7 years regular service in Grade pay of Rs.4600/- and
(b) having the following educations qualifications & experience.

ESSENTIAL :-
(i)Master’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry of a recognized university Or equivalent OR Degree in Chemical Engineering Technology of a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
(ii)10 years’ experience in a Chemical or Petrochemical Industry or in a Central/State Govt. Department dealing with Planning, Development, Production of Chemical or Petrochemical Industry.

Note : Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise will qualified.

Desirable : Diploma in German, French, Russian or Italian.

7. Period of deputation : Period of deputation/contract shall ordinarily (including short-term not exceed 3 years. Contract)

8. Pay : The pay of the officer selected will be regulated in accordance with the provisions contained in the Department of Personnel & Training’s O.M. No.2/29/91-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 5.1.94 as amended from time to time.
