Job Description
Should be a M.E / M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferably from IIT, IIM, IISc, BITS or REC with 4 to 5 years of experience in domestic and international projects. Must have 2+ years of relevant experience in similar position responsible for the entire design of steel structures & should be capable of handling R.C.C projects

Desired Candidate Profile
-Minimum 4 years of progressive design experience in the design of steel buildings, sheds & miscellaneous structures.
-Proven track record of developing design procedures, standards, planning & implementing effective control measures to reduce turn around time for design activities.
- Should have basic knowledge in design of R.C.C structures.
-Good knowledge about various national codes and design aids like IS-456, IS-800, IS-875, IS-801 and exposure to AISC, ACI, and IBC etc.
-Should have strong communication skills, management & leadership skills and motivation of his team towards achieving strict time deadlines and responding to changing priorities.
-Proficiency in using various latest softwares in analysis &design like STAAD.Pro, Straap, AutoCAD etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Pre construction :
- Soil investigation, establish GPS and collect design parameters from local administrative offices.
- Supporting the client in obtaining of all the statutory approvals
- Help the consultants in preparation of DBR and co coordinating with the client team in preparation of Lab data sheet.
- Participating in Preparation of tenders short listing bidders issuing and receiving tenders conducting pre bid meetings along with PMC.
- Actively participate in all the Design review meetings of Civil and Structural, Architectural, HVAC, IBMS, Gas piping, Fume hoods, Electrical, UPS system, DG &HSD, Fire suppression, Solar system and Land scalping on behalf of USP.
- Tendering, negotiation and finalization of bids schedule of rates, helping supply chain team in short listing of contractors and issuing of LOI.
- Preparation of Rate analysis of different item of works.
- Tracking of project schedule in MS project and monitoring the same.
Construction Stage
- Co ordination with Architects in pre construction stage and in execution of civil and structural jobs for both RCC and pre engineered buildings also move the work in co coordination of MEP.
