    Advertisement for filling up the post of Member Secretary, in the pay scale of Rs.18,400-500-22,400/- (pre-revised), PB-4 Rs.37,400-67000/- + Grade Pay 10,000/- (revised) in the Commission for Agricultural Costs & Prices(CACP), on Deputation (including short-term contract) basis regarding.

    (I) Officers of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service :
    (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
    (ii) with 3 (three) years regular service in the posts in the pay scale of Rs.14,300-18,300/- (pre-revised), PB-4 (Rs.37,400-67000/-)+Grade Pay 8700/- (revised) or equivalent (including service in higher post).
    or
    (II) Officers under the Central Government/State Governments /Universities/ Agricultural Universities/Recognised Research Institutes possessing :
    (i) Ph.D in Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University; and
    (ii) 15 years of teaching/research experience in different aspects of agriculture, including agricultural price policy, production economics, and agricultural trade policy; and
    (iii) Ability for application of quantitative techniques; and
    (iv) Experience in Government administration; and
    (v) Holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 3 years regular service in the posts in the scale of Rs. 14,300-18,300/-(pre-revised) PB-4 (Rs.37,400- 67,000) + Grade Pay Rs. 8700/- (Revised) or equivalent (including service in higher post).

    Applications(in triplicate) in the enclosed proforma, along with complete and up-todate Annual Confidential Reports/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports ( of last five years) (photocopies of the ACRs/APARs are to be got attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India) and Integrity Certificate of eligible officers who could be spared in the event of their selection, may kindly be forwarded to Under Secretary(EA), Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Room No.478-A, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi – 110001, within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachaar. While forwarding the application, it may also be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the officers are correct and that no vigilance case is either pending or contemplated against them and no major/minor penalty has been imposed on them during the last 10 years. The applications in the prescribed format, received without being countersigned by the Head of Department in the manner provided for in the format, will be summarily rejected.
