Requires Medical Officer in the field of General Surgery

Kolkata Port Trust, Haldia Dock Complex intends to engage 1 Medical Officer, with Post Graduate qualification in General Surgery, for its Hospital (ISO: 9001-2000 Certified) at Haldia.

Qualification & Experience :
(i) Must have MBBS Degree or equivalent.
(ii) Must have completed full term of House appointment in the Indoor wards of a 1st Grade Hospital, including the job of a Resident House Surgeon / Physician.
(iii) Must have Post Graduate Degree in the field of General Surgery.

Age :
The upper age limit is 30 years, as on the first day of the month in which the advertisement is published (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates). For deserving candidates, the upper age may be relaxed as per rules of KoPT.

Compensation : Scale of pay Rs.20600 – 46500/-.
Minimum gross including Basic, DA & Non Practicing Allowance would be around Rs 38000/- per month. Additionally, allowances upto a maximum of 45% of basic pay may be allowed under ‘cafeteria’ Apart from this Gratuity, New Pension Scheme, Subsidized Accommodation, LTC, Medical benefits, etc. are also allowed.
