1. Assam Rifles recruitment rally will be held at Dimapur (Nagaland) and Guwahati (Assam ) from 14 Sep 2011 onwards for enrollment of male candidates from following states for the posts mentioned against each :-

Trade Educational Qualification
1 Naib subedar (Religious Teachers) Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi and Candidate to pass practical departmental test in the profession trade.
2 Naib Subedar (Bridge and Road ) Junior Commissioned Officer Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board or University and Diploma in civil Engineering OR Bridge and Road from a recognized Institution.
3 Warrant Officer (PA) 10 + 2 or equivalent from a recognized board or university with short hand speed @ 80 words per minute and typing speed @ 40 words per minute.
4 Havildar (Clerk) 10+2 pass (Matric passed with English & Maths) and typing speed @ 30 words per minute in English or @ 25 words per minute in Hindi.
5 Havildar /Draftsman Matric or equivalent Diploma in the trade from a recognized institution/board preferably with 3 years experience.
6 Line Man Field Matric Pass with ITI cert of the trade from recognized institution.
7 Electrician Matric Pass with ITI cert of the trade from recognized institution.
8 Plumber Matric Pass with Diploma/ITI cert of the trade from recognized institution.
9 Electrician (Mechanic Vehicle) Matric Pass with English, Maths and Science and Diploma/ITI certificate from recognized institution.
10 Upholster Matric Pass with ITI cert of the trade from recognized institution.

Candidates shall forward their applications as per the attached format to the address mentioned below along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) and self addressed registered envelope in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338 so as to reach this Directorate on or before 10 Aug 2011. SC and ST candidates are exempted from application fee. No cash/postal order will be accepted.
