Project Name : FLIGHT TRACKING SYSTEM Duration: 3 Months

Description :
The objective is to keep track of all the airplanes owned by the company. It tracks the location of a particular flight including the delay of the flight, list of passengers and their details. It tracks the flight positioning with the help of the updates given by the pilot using GPS system. It also gives the information of the flight arrival to the destination point in accordance with the flight delay. The display will include the itinerary for each flight so that you can see which airport appears to be a hub and which are route or approach fields. Using any of the online booking engines, you can divide the itinerary into two logical tickets to test if the total cost is lower than a single ticket from departure to arrival airport. Despite all the progress, many abrupt events like sudden weather changes are not captured by existing flight trackers because they take their information not from the airplane itself but from dispatcher centers which often do not know the actual status of plane's whereabouts.
HOW THE PROJECT WORKS :
Master pages were created using ASP.Net to which various other pages were linked. In order to check the connection availability of ASP.Net Internet Information Services (IIS) was loaded to the software.
ASP.Net is the frontend and SQL Server is the backend. In order to insert the user’s data into the web server queries were given at the backend.
The database version used was SQL Server 2005.
A master page is created and linked with various other pages. A particular screen was tested using black box and white box testing, all the bugs were cleared and were given a quality assurance Crystal Reports were used to store the data.
Curriculum Project (Mini Project)
Project Name : DOCUMENT VERSION CONTROL SYSTEM Duration: 1 Month.
Language : C# using .Net Framework Team Size: 1.

A version control system which can be used to manage any type of documents. This is useful when a group of people are concurrently changing the documents in a repository. It allows user Registration and access privilege to the repository. Administrator’s privilege to edit user profiles, stream management. The user interface user has option to select stream, traverse the folder tree, and the last folder of a tree will have the documents. User can view all versions of a document and can up-version a document by simply uploading that document again. User can delete only the latest version which he/she has created, and User can revert to an older version of the document. The version numbering will happen automatically. Administrator can freeze the file-base.
