Our service allows them to outsource their medical transcription requirements to us where they dictate their letters through speech devices and we provide them with typed documents which are sent to them securely through the internet, ready for printing and posting.

    FAQs:
    1. What are the minimum requirements for home-based opportunities with British Orient Infotel?
    a. You need to be an experienced medical transcriptionist/proofer.
    b. You need to have a computer with internet connectivity and good power backup
    c. For Language QA openings, you should be good in written English for language check.

    2. Do you have specific timings or do you allow flexible timings?
    a. Timings are customised for each individual
    b. However, HT should stick to the timing committed by her/him.
    c. Timings will be as per our in-house staff.

    3. How are errors counted?
    a. We follow industry standards for error markings.
    b. Blanks are not considered as errors.

    4. What is the payment plan?
    a. We pay on line count basis on exceptional cases.
    b. All benefits of in-house staff applicable to even to our HTs including fixed salary and perks.

    5. How is the payment made?
    a. Payments will be made through HDFC account between 10th and 15th of every month.

    6. Do I need to sign an agreement?
    a. Yes, you need to agree to the Terms and Conditions as mentioned in your Offer Letter.
    b. You will get a signed copy of the agreement.
    c. You also need to sign Non-Disclosure Agreement which should be notarised.
    7. How can I get used to the clients?
    a. There is online support from the Team Leaders/Manager.
    b. There are enough samples that are made available.

    8. How do I get feedback?
    a. You will regular feedbacks from QAs and random evaluation by our auditing team including compare documents.
    b. You can review your compared documents and contact the team lead for doubts and discrepancy.

    9. When will I be required to start if I am selected?
    a. We would require you to start immediately once selected.
    b. If you do not have computer/internet connectivity, we request you to apply for British Orient HT Programme only after you obtain the necessary infrastructure.
    c. Once the software is installed in your computer and proper functioning is confirmed, you can start off.

    10.Whom should I report to and address my grievances if any?
    a. You will be given Communication Protocol document which has contact details of key roles of the organisation to address your concerns/suggestions.

    11. I am not from Bangalore; can I still work from home?
    a. It is mandatory for out-stationed candidates to undergo Induction Programme after being selected. This four-day Induction Programme will consist of UK spellings, Software training, Infodocs of our clients, etc. Candidates should come to Bangalore for Induction before taking up HT.

    12. Any deductions in my salary?
    a. There will be Rs. 200 professional tax deduction in your salary (please note we don’t provide provident fund but we are introducing free group health insurance shortly).

    13. Can I take online test?
    a. Sorry we don’t give online tests. You need to visit us for test and personal interview in our office in Bangalore at the following address.

    We can shorten the training duration and concentrate more on software/platform training.
