NIFM invites application from ORTHOPAEDICALLY HANDICAPPED CANDIDATES for the post of Senior Library & Information Assistant in the Pay Band of 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4200/- plus other allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees. Candidates having disabilities classified as O.L. may apply for the post (O.L. one leg affected (right or left) a. Impaired Reach b. Weakness of Grip c. Ataxic)

Qualification & Experience : Holding Degree from any recognized University with Bachelors Degree in Library Science with three years experience in similar assignment.

Age : Not exceeding 40 years as on 1.7.2011, upper age limit for SC/ST and OBC candidates will be 45 years and 43 years respectively.

Note : The candidates have to submit Disability Certificate issued by Competent Medical Authority (format of the same is available on NIFM’s Website nifm.ac.in).

I have rich experience in working with E-granthalaya, Suchika, Aurum and Slim++ Library, Libsys Automation Software. As well as I have good command on Dspace Software for digitization.
