JOB DESCRIPTION
Flash programmers will program for innovative, effective, and practical e-learning courses for clients across various domains. To design effective solutions, Kern’s programmers will work closely with clients, learners, graphic designers and instructional designers.

Role
• Gather technical requirements from clients, analyze the feasibility, time frame etc, and freeze the technical requirements
• Mentor and grow the development team
• Brainstorm with the eLearning team
• Take up programming independently
• Create reusable components for future use
• Be a part of any technical need for the company
• Keep updated and explore new trends in technology which will help in increased productivity

Qualifications
• 5 years of experience as a flash programmer
• BE/Btech/MCA/MSC mathematics
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Attention to details
• Ability to mentor, grow, retain, and manage a development team. Understand the big picture of designing a great course
• Ability to work independently, take initiatives, and self-motivated
• Self-driven with a passion for learning and training

Essential skills
• Excellent knowledge in Flash 8/Flash CS3/Flash CS4 and ActionScript 2.0 or 3.0
• Programming skills for all eLearning standards and practices
• Excellent logical and analytical skills
• Schedule adherence in delivering projects
• Excellent communication skills (English) – both verbal and written
• Willingness to take up challenging work
• Work closely with ID, GD and other team members
• Behavioral trait - Self-driven, self-motivated, take initiative

Desirable skills
• Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Adobe Illustrator, Flash animation and design, PHP, mySQL, java script etc
• Active presence in social media
• Good visual design skills
