    PROJECT WORK :
    Title- Preparation of METHANOL by Associated Gas .
    Associated gas mainly consist of the methane, ethane ,propane ,butane , pentane , sulphur, carbondioxide and nitrogen.it is obtained from the ONGC.Then it is used in the process of Hydrogenation and then Desulphurization and then passes through the Reformer to give a mixture of hydrogen ,carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and unconverted methane(<2%). It is then passed through the compressor to increase its pressure.Then it is passed through the Methanol synthesis section and then through the purification section to get the pure methanol.
