Role Description:

1. Development of piping layouts, including understanding of mechanical equipment rooms and systems (HVAC piping, steam, plumbing, industrial process piping, water and wastewater piping).
2. Understanding of Detailing Piping field installation, Plumbing installation, HVAC installation. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards from ASHRAE, IBC and IPC, AWWA, NFPA is essential for preparing fit for purpose engineering design drawing and related engineering documents.
3. Understanding of HVAC works including air distribution calculation, duct sizing, duct layout, refrigerant piping, chilled water piping, diffusers / grill sizing etc. and plumbing, drainage and fire fighting layouts.
4. To provide guidance to the designers and drafting persons.
5. Preparation of piping plans, Isometrics, MTOs, layout drawings.
6. Preparation of material specifications for piping and supports.
