Job Responsibilities:
** Experience in Conceptual design, detail design of piping & plant layout for combined cycle power plants.
** To Perform Stress Analysis for Piping Systems using Autopipe and Caesar.
** Knowledge on Piping Support Selections.
** Pipe thickness calculation based on International codes.
** Preparation of Specification & Data Sheets for Piping & Specialties and Associated Systems.
** Knowledge on procurement of Valves, other Piping in-line Components and Pre-fabricated Piping etc.
** Knowledge on Procurement of Tanks and Cranes & Hoists will be considered as an added advantage.
** Interaction with Vendors and other design teams for technical issues & interfaces
** Assisting the project mangers in all activities for controlling and executing large power projects.

Qualification & Experience :
** Full time Bachelors/Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institutes with good academic records.
** 5 years relevant experience in Power projects and shall be well conversant with PDS. Candidates with more experience would be considered for Lead Engineer and/or Managerial Position.

Desirable :
** Exposure to International projects & knowledge of International Codes & Standards like ASME/ASTM/BS etc.
** Experience in 3D design tools such as PDS and SP3D.
** Experience in EPC Companies.

- Detail engineering: Preparation of Isometric views, Bill of material, pipe supports, P&I diagrams and pipe layouts for the entire Piping network for service facilities such as fuel oil, water (fire & drinking) and foam etc. with the reference of API Standards, ANSI, BS, IS codes & OISD norms.
- Estimation of material required for Storage Tanks, checking of fabrication drawings supplied by vendors, preparation of Bill of materials and Technical specifications for vertical Storage Tanks (MS, HSD, SKO & Water Tanks) with reference of API Standards, IS codes & OISD norms.
- Preparation of pump house layouts.
- Preparation of bar charts using MS Project Package.
- Preparation & checking of Piping Isometric Views for L&T Engineers
