    Applications are invited for filling up the following posts on deputation basis in ICFRE and its Institutes in the pay scales indicated against the post with usual allowances as admissible under rules in ICFRE:-

    5. Director (Research), ICFRE, Dehradun PB:4 Rs.37,400-67,000/- + Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/-

    Age :- Not exceeding 57 years as on 25.07.2011

    Eligibility :- The crucial date for determining eligibility criteria shall be 25.07.2011 i.e. the last date of receipt of application.

    General Instructions :
    1. Applications with complete bio-data of the candidate should reach the office of the Secretary, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, P.O. New Forest, Dehradun together with a fee of Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred only) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO), ICFRE on or before 25.07.2011. The closing date of receipt of applications from candidates residing in Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshdweep will be 10.08.2011. Separate application should be submitted along with Demand Draft of Rs.100/- for each post if a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post.
    2. Application and the envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of _____________” against Advt.No.2/DDGs & Directors/2011-ICFRE”. Applications incomplete in any respect shall be summarily rejected.
    3. In no case the Council will be responsible for non-receipt of applications or any delay in receipt thereof on any account whatsoever. No application received after the stipulated last date will be entertained under any circumstances and all the late applications will be summarily rejected.
    4. The candidate must submit their application through proper channel. The concerned department/organization should enclose vigilance clearance report and Annual Confidential Reports of the officer for the last seven years for the years 2003-2004 to 2009-2010 while forwarding the applications of the candidates. However, an advance copy can be submitted along with the prescribed fee.
    5. The IFS officers who have not completed the mandatory three/two years “Cooling off” period, as the case may be, in his/her parent cadre between two spells of deputation as on 25.07.2011 will not be considered for the post.
    6. The Council reserves the right to relax, the qualifications/experience in case of exceptionally qualified and meritorious candidates.
    7. The Council reserves the right not to fill up the vacancies advertised if the circumstances so warrant in the interest of the Council.
