Applications are invited from Ex.Army/Ex.BSF personnel or NCC, B & C certificate holders or Sportsman of All India repute to fill up the post of Security Guard in Tech.& Supvr. Grade ‘G’ in Eastern Coalfields Limited.

1. Post : Security Guard
Grade : Tech.& Supvr. Grade ‘G’
No. of vacancies : 215

Eligibility :
2. Citizenship : The applicants must be a citizen of India .

3. Qualification : Matriculate or Equivalent Examination from any recognized Board of Examination.

4. Age:
Upper age limit as on 31.05.2011 for General: 38 years
Upper age limit as on 31.05.2011 for OBC: 41 years
Upper age limit as on 31.05.2011 for SC/ST: 43 years

5. Physical Standard :
Height for General/OBC: 5’-5”
Height for SC/ST: 5’-3”
Chest for General/OBC: 32”- 34”
Chest for SC/ ST: 30”-32”

6 Pay : Rs. 8757.06 + SDA, VDA, Attendance Bonus & other allowances as per NCWA- VIII, Increment shall be paid @ 3% of the Basic wages.

7 Place of Work : Any Unit of ECL.

8 Last Date : Last date of receipt of the application is on 12-07-2011.

9 General Instruction :
i) The applicants should apply through our prescribed Form
ii) Candidates must ensure before applying for the above post that he is eligible for the post in terms of age, requisite qualifications and other criteria as laid down in the Advertisement. If the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incorrect at a later date, the candidate himself will be solely responsible and his service is liable to be terminated at any time during his service.
iii) Candidates should be from Ex.Army/Ex.BSF personnel or NCC,B &C certificate holders or Sportsman of All India repute. (Certificate of the respective Authority to be enclosed along-with application.)
iv) Candidates are advised to furnish correct information regarding their ages, requisite qualifications and Castes.( the attested copies of certificates to be attached with the Application Form.).
v) SC/ST/OBC candidates should fill up their respective category in the respective column in the Application Form carefully
vi) Incomplete application in any respect or unsigned application will be summarily rejected.
vii) Candidates will be required to produce the original certificates at the time of interview.
viii) Application should be filled up either in English or in Hindi only.
ix) One Self-addressed Envelope with Stamp must be attached with the application form.
x) Government servant should send the application through proper channel or should submit “ No objection certificate “at the time of Interview.
xi) 1(One) Passport size photograph duly attested should be affixed in the space of Application Form and 2(two) extra photographs duly attested to be enclosed separately.
