    Applications are invited for the Post of Associate Professor-cum-Sr. Scientist in following subjects under Veterinary Faculty on the prescribed form obtainable from the office of the undersigned by sending a non-refundable, A/C payee Demand Draft payable at State Bank of India, Sabour branch code no. 11805 for Rs. 450.00 (Rupees Four hundred fifty) only for General/BC/EBC/RCF and Rs. 150.00 (Rupees One hundred fifty) only for SC/ST candidates drawn in favour of Comptroller, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour alongwith self addressed envelop of 27x19 cm size duly stamped with a postage of Rs. 27.00 (Rupees Twenty seven) only or in person from 10:30 A.M. to 05:00 P.M. on any working days. The application form can also be down-loaded from the website www.bausabour.org.in and a demand draft as indicated above must be enclosed alongwith application. The downloaded application form without requisite fee (D.D. as stated above) will be rejected. A separate application with separate fee is required for each post. The application alongwith all relevant documents should reach the Officer-in-Charge (Recruitment), Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour-813210, Bhagalpur on and before up to 05:00 P.M. only through registered post /speed post/courier post. The in-service candidate should submit application through proper channel. However, they must submit advance copy with requisite fee within stipulated time.

    Essential Qualification :
    (i) Good academic record with a Doctoral Degree in relevant Subject or equivalent published work. In addition to these, candidates who join from outside the University system, shall also possess at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E,F at the Master’s degree level.
    (ii) 5 years of experience of Teaching, Research and/or Extension on the post of Assistant Professor/Junior Scientist and equivalent in the pay scale of Rs. 8,000-13,500/- or revised from time to time (excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degree) and has made some mark in areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to education innovation, design of new courses and curricula.

    NOTE :
    The University reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw any post, change the designation and pay scale and also not to fill up any post even after selection.
    In no case application received after closing date will be considered. The original application form duly forwarded by parent office must reach to this office within a fortnight after closing date.
    Higher starting salary may be considered for highly qualified and experienced persons on the recommendation of Selection Committee in special cases.
