FH-TDMA Radio (1.7-2)GHz is RF communication equipment, designed for operating as a multi-channel radio station in full duplex mode. Intra-communication system is designed to provide integrated data & voice communication facility between Control Centers (CC) and their EW entities (with VDMUX, ROUTER AND EPAX). This Radio Relay is based on Point to Multipoint (RRPMP) Communication in Samyuktha.
Role :
- Involved in Design Evaluation,Testing and development support of RF & Baseband Modules(Mod.&Demod.,AGC,Up/Down Converters,DDS,PLL,LNA,PA,SPNT Switches,Filters) of Transmitter & Receiver units.

Project 3:
Project Name : AKASH MISSILE SYSTEM (4.4 – 5) GHz
Client : DRDL.
Environment : TDMA/FDD Technique.
Duration : 18 Months.
Description :
The AMS operates under Time Division Duplexing scheme in the frequency range of (4.4 to 4.5) GHz and (4.8 to 5)GHz which hops over 700 per second with pi/4 DQPSK.
AMS radio contains IDU (In-Door Unit) and ODU (Out-Door Unit). IDU contains Power Supply, Baseband, IFC, TX, RX, and Combiner.
Combiner gets up-converted modulated signal from TX card in TX period and combiner which contains pre-amplifier and Switched Filter Bank (SFB) amplifies and removes any inter-mod from up-converted signal including image frequency. The amplified signal is fed to Switched Filter Bank (SFB).SFB in turn contains filter bank of six filters and two SP6T switches at the input and output of the filter allow the signal through a particular filter only. This final filtered signal is fed to ODU for final amplification.
Combiner in RX path contains only the SFB, (which functions similar to that in TX period) which switches between different frequencies removing any image frequency or unwanted signals.
ODU in TX path consists of SPDT switch, PA, High Power SPDT Switch in TX path, band pass filter.
PA function is to amplify the up-converted modulated signal upto required level.The final signal is fed to antenna through a High Power SPDT Switch and Band pass filter.
ODU in RX path contains LNA also including the filter and switches available in TX path.LNA amplifies the received signal with minimum noise figure.
Band pass Filter function is to reject the High power RADAR operating frequency
5.4 GHz.
