Applications are invited for the following post to lead the India-Based Neutrino Observatory DAQ software development. The selected candidate will be posted at the Department of High Energy Physics of the Institute at Mumbai.

PROJECT SCIENTIST : One post (appointment to be renewed each year up to a total period of 3 years) ; Consolidated Salary : Rs.30,000/- + 30% HRA ; HQ : Mumbai.

Qualification : Candidate should be a Ph.D. in Particle Physics with consistently good academic record.

Experience : Candidate should have adequate experience in building both VME hardware as well as data acquisition software.

Job Description : The Project Scientist is expected to develop various hardware as well as software components for experimental programs in High Energy Physics. He/She is also expected to actively participate in data analysis.
