Pay & Allowances :
Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ’SC’ in the pay band of Rs.15600-39100/- with grade pay of Rs.5400/-. The gross emoluments in the minimum of pay band will at present be approximately Rs.31,710/-.

- Dissertation in structural geology, title “Tertiary fault kinematics of the Saryu river fault (SRF) in central part of Kumaun Lesser Himalaya, Uttaranchal”.
Academic Qualification :
- Master of Science (Geology) from the Kumaun University Nainital in the year 2004.
- Bachelor of Science (ZBG) from the Kumaun University Nainital in the year 2002
- Intermediate from U.P Board in the year 1998.

Field Experience :
- Carried out one month Geological surface mapping around Sitalapani area at Malanjkhand, Madhya Pradesh organized by Department of Geology, K.U. Nainital.
- Carried out twenty days Field across the Saryu River faults (SRF) in central part of Kumaun lesser Himalaya for following purpose :
- For the study of tectonic setting as well as Structural evolution.
- For collection of oriented samples.
- Following opencast & underground mines are visited to understand the mechanism of exploration of economic mineral deposits and evolution of ore body.
- Jhamarkotra Rock Phosphate Mine, Udaipur Rajasthan.
- Zawar group of Mines Udaipur Rajasthan.
- Following places are visited for the site selection and constructions of Permanent Global Positioning system (GPS) station along Himalayan orogeny.
- Srinager (Garhwal) Uttaranchal.
- Kullu (Himanchal Pradesh).
- Zero (Arunachal Pradesh).
- Carried out ten days field work along Thelu and Gangotri glaciers to study the geological, geomorphological and GPS (elevation 5500 msl).
- Carried out one month field work for static GPS survey, geological and geomorphological study along the Gori valley transect Kumaun Himalaya, Uttaranchal besides this kinematic GPS survey of Milam glacier. (elevation 4000 msl).
- Extensive field along Kumaun Himalaya for Landslide monitoring and crustal deformation study, through Kinematic and Static GPS survey.
- Extensive field work of Garhwal Himalaya to collect the core sample from various lakes and bog, such as Nachiketatal lake, Badanital lake, Wayali bog, Bhashartal, Seven lakes and Gethina palaeolake. Beside this the study of geomorphology and neotectonics around these lakes.
- Extensive field work along the different parts of the Uttarakhand Himalaya to collect the Stalagmites for the palaeoclimatic study.
- Ten days field work along the Spiti valley to study the Varve profile of the Attargoo lacustrine deposit along the Spiti and pin river.
- Carried out one month field work on Tsokar and Tsomoriri lakes in the Ladakh Himalaya for the High resolution palaeoclimatic study using lakes sediment with German team (elevation 5600 msl).
- More then 4 month visit of Physical Research Laboratory, Navarangpura, Ahmedabad and India Institute of Geomagnetism Panvel, New Mumbai, Maharastra for isotopic and palaeomagnetic analysis respectively.
- Visited Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology about 20 days for clay mineralogy and elemental analysis.
- Have an experience of more then 5 month as a Geologist for investigation work to establishment of the River Valley Project in Trashiyangtse, Bhutan.
