At Present in Uninor project : - NSS Back office Engineer (Operations & Maintenance) (since November ‘09)
In my tenure at Uninor I have been associated with key departments like Network Switching System
Brief Profile :-
- Fully involved in successful MNP (Mobile Number Portability) migration of all circles of UNINOR under Ericsson with rest of India circles
- Do Successful Pre and Post testing during MNP activities.
- Knowledge of B No., MNP Based call flow.
- Also involved in Acceptance testing of new nodes like MSS,BSC. coordinate with project team to clear the discrepancy (considering active node as reference node), do testing of various short codes like Toll free short codes, Chargeable short codes etc.
- Opening of new levels of other operators in UNINOR circles under Ericsson.
- Do up gradation of several latest packages time to time like IPA05, IPA06, IPA07, EPA108, Middleware, AGM317 (APG upgrade package) in MSS.
- Sound knowledge of GSM system survey, Call flow, SMSC, SS7.
- Perform BSC Migration, POI Migration shifting activity from one MSS to another MSS.
- Operation and Trouble-shooting of ERICSSON AXE 810 Switches, BSC & MSC and its concerned auxiliary units.
- Hardware and software maintenance of NSS and BSS elements.
- Fault management of Mobile Switching Centre and Base Station Controller (Ericsson AXE 810 Platform) switches, Switch related hardware (MSC & BSC)
- Prioritize hardware faults to meet customer demands within required time frame along with analysis, solution and reports of the same.
- Carrying out network related administration activities like Charging files output backup, Processor data backup on optical disks regularly.

- Drive the root cause analysis (if unable to determine at time of incident) investigations and to ensure, where applicable, a permanent solution is implemented to prevent similar occurrences of the incident.
- Take action on alarm reported by FO (Network surveillance team).
