Name of the Project : “Delineation of Quaternary Tectonic History of Kachchh from the sediments of Great Rann, Western India”

Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification : M.Sc. (Geology) with > 55%

Duration : Three years

Salary : 12000 + HRA

1. Presently working in Sandor Proteomics Pvt.Ltd., banjarahills, hyderabad, as a Senior Research Fellow in ICMR project since 2007 July to till the date.
Nature of work :
I
1. A. Analysis of CH(congenital Hyperplasia) and CAH (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia) for Newborns in ELISA method.
2. DNA isolation and gel check and PCR for Positive patients.
3. Sending reports for QC in CDC, Atlanta, ICMR New delhi.
II
B. Diagnosed FGF-23 (Fibroblast Growth Factor -23 levels estimated in Chronic Kidney Disorders(CKD) patients in ELISA method.
2. Worked 3 years in CDFD (Center for DNA Finger Printing and Diagnosis) as Project assistant and technician in New born Screening ICMR Project (above said Project). This project moved from CDFD to Sandor Proteomics Pvt Ltd.,
Nature of work : Above said project work and alongwith Newborn screening analysis of G6pd, Biotinidase, GALT enzyme, CH, CAH, IRT (immune Reactive Tripsinogen) and given reports to patients.
3. 2 years worked in L.V.Prasad eye institute as a Microbiology technician in microbiology department in the period of 1996 to 1998.

Nature of work :
1. Maintenance of bacterial cultures, and DNA isolation from bacterial cultures and gel check and Pcr, in Eye disease patients.,
2. Preparation of solutions and buffers.
salary drawing : Rs.18000/- +HRA 30%(Rs.5400/-) (SRF scale .Rs.23,400/-p.m.consolidated in ICMR project.)
