PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur, one of the premier Technical Institutes of the country, is established by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India,invites applications on the presribed form from suitable Indian nationals for appointment on the following posts on regular/contracual/deputation basis :

Abbreviation : SC Scheduled Caste, ST Scheduled Tribe, PH Physically Handicapped, OBC Other Backward Classes, UR Unreserved.

Note :
While applying against vacancies which are reserved, the candidates are required to attach the Caste Certificate in the format as prescribed by the Govt. of India, a copy of which can be obtained through our website. With other things remaining equal, preference will be given to Physically Handicapped candidate(s). Upper age limit for posts from Sl. No. 1 to 4 is 18- 32 and from 5-7 is 18-27 years. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per Central Government Rules for various categories SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-Servicemen/ PH. Age relaxation for educationally qualified meritorious candidates having adequate experience of working in Central/State Autonomous Bodies/Institutes will be up to a maximum age of 38 years.

Qualifications and Experience for the above Posts [Serial-wise]
1. First Class Bachelor's Degree in Elect. Engg. + 3 years relevant experience OR Recognized diploma in Elect. Engg. of 3 years duration with 15 years experience in electrical wiring for large buildings, distribution of power on O.H. lines and under ground cables and erection and maintenance of sub station equipments in large industry or similar educational complex.
2. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with at least one year's field experience OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with three years experience.
3. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least one year's field experience OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with three years experience.
4. Degree from a recognized university or equivalent (ii) Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Library Science of recognized university/ institute or equivalent obtained after graduation (iii) Experience of two years in a Library/ Computerization of a Library or one year certificate in computer application from a recognized institution or equivalent.
5. M.Sc in appropriate field/B.Tech/ BE or B.Sc with two years relevant experience or MCA with one year experience. Knowledge of computer applications
6. Bachelor's degree in appropriate field or Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in appropriate filed. Knowledge of Computer Applications.
7. Bachelor's degree with knowledge of computer office applications

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1- Candidates applying for more than one post must use separate Application Form for each post (along with required DEMAND DRAFT in original) and send them in separate cover super-scribed with the name of the post applied for. However, they may use the photocopy of the Application Form.
2-Persons serving in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs, should send their applications either THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL or should furnish a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of interview. They can, however, send an advance copy along with the DEMAND DRAFT in original.
3- Besides pay, the posts carries allowances according to the Institute rules which at present are at par with the Central Government employees stationed at Jabalpur.
4 -The Institute reserves the right to relax any of the qualifications/experience in exceptional cases of meritorious and outstanding candidates.
5-Higher initial basic pay may be given to exceptionally qualified and deserving candidate(s).
6-The Institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for interview. Fulfillment of essential qualifications per se does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
7-The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the posts, cancel the Advt. in whole or in part without assigning any reason and its decision in this regard shall be final. The selection process will generally consist of written and/or skill test followed by an interview.
8-No TA will be paid for written test. However, the candidates called for interview will be paid 2nd class sleeper rail fare for to and fro journey by the shortest route.

Incomplete applications/ applications without relevant supporting enclosures/ without attested copies of certificates/ without prescribed fee/ application not on prescribed form will be out rightly rejected. Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay. Interim correspondence will not be entertained.

Applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of "REGISTRAR, PDPM IIITDM JABALPUR" payable at payable at any nationalized bank at Jabalpur The issue date of demand draft should be within the duration of Advt. SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are not required to submit the demand draft. Incomplete applications/ without relevant supporting enclosures/ without attested copies of certificates/ without prescribed fee/ application not on prescribed form will be out rightly rejected. Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay. Interim correspondence will not be entertained and replied to. Prescribed application form can be obtained, free of cost, either in person or by sending a self-addressed envelope of 28 cm x 12 cm size bearing postage stamp of Rs.25/- or by downloading through our website www.iiitdmj.ac.in.
