IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE BACKGROUND IN COMMODITIES BROKING SUCH AS IRON ORE, COAL, FERTILIZERS, AGRI PRODUCTS ETC. BUT OTHER BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED. YOU WILL BE AN ENTREPRENEUR WHO CAN INDEPENTLY DEVELOP NEW BUSINESS AND WHO POSSESSES EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, INCLUDING FLUENT ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS. YOU MUST HAVE ESTABLISHED CONTACTS GLOBALLY WITH SHIP OWNERS, CHARTERERS AND LEADING SHIP BROKERS (BASED IN LONDON / BALTIC, NY, HK ETC.) AS THIS (PERSONAL CONTACTS) IS AS ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT. SHOULD HAVE GOOD EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A SHIP BROKER. KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLOBAL SHIPPING INDUSTRY WORKING NECESSARY.
KNOWLEDGE IN PREPARATION AND EXECUTION OF CHARTER PARTY CONTRACTS. KNOWLEDGE OF VOYAGE CALCULATIONS, COSTING ETC. PROVIDE TIMELY SUPPORT TO THE CUSTOMERS THROUGH PROACTIVE MANAGEMENT OF POST-FIXTURE OPERATIONS.
