Brief Project Description :

Grow various kinds of vegetables in greenhouses using organic and hydroponic methods

Pilot Project :

Start mini project with four gutter connected greenhouses

Objectives of Pilot Project :

** Observe difficulties and problems
** Find solutions to problems

Job Requirements & Tasks :
Major tasks
** Create a master plan for the project
** Create well structured plans for the project
** Execute plans and blueprints efficiently and accurately
** Teach inexperienced employees nature of work at various fields
** Work with several employees at a time
** Assign tasks to employees
** Monitor daily activities
** Handle and carry out multitasks in various areas of the project
** Coordinate between various areas of the project Greenhouse construction
** Experience in commercial greenhouse structuring
** Create blueprints for greenhouse construction
** Experience in greenhouse construction for all materials
** Experience in metal frames of greenhouses
** Experience with different types of greenhouse sheets (glass, fiberglass, polycarbonate, plastic cover)
** Experience in greenhouse ventilation (both cold and hot weather)
** Knowledge about exhaust fans and evaporation cooling systems for greenhouse ventilation
** Knowledge about how to provide water and electricity to location
** Knowledge on how to construct hydroponic tables
** Teach inexperienced workers how to build greenhouse facilities professionally
** Pest management inside greenhouse
** Knowledge about CFM
** Inspection of final product

Soil and Water Treatment
** Experience in different types of soil especially desert type soils
** Treating soil into making it ready for planting
** Knowledge about many types of diseases that may affect soil or plants and treating it
** Fast recognition of any diseases
** Treating diseases immediately
** Giving soil the right amount of fertilization in order to be healthy and avoid disease
** Knowledge in providing different kinds of plants suitable water
** Knowledge in DTS
** Knowledge in levels of pH, EC and moisture

Irrigation
** Experience with various types of irrigation methods used for greenhouse planting (Drip irrigation, misting, soaker hose, overhead sprinklers, hand watering)
** Knowledge on how to construct an irrigation plan (timing & quantity for each plant)
** Carrying out irrigation plans effectively
** Choose best method of irrigation for different kinds of plant
** Knowledge on how to supply water to every type of greenhouse with adequate quantity and distribution

Organic and hydroponic growing
** Experience with growing greenhouse vegetables & fruits organically and hydroponically
** Vegetables, fruits & flowers
** Experience in fertilization needs for above kinds of plants
** Create fertilizing schedules for every kind of plant
** Monitoring plant growth and health
** Monitoring workers and teaching them methods of growing and crop collection
** Create plan for planting & crop collection
** Record statistics of each greenhouse

Marketing
** Ability to study local and foreign market to decide which crops to plant at what season for maximum profit
