- Receive the diet information in case of IP patients.

- Check the tray setting against each meal card randomly when trolley is loaded and check the temperature of service trolley.

- Revise the diet plan according to the patients requirement / change of Consultants diet order / counseling the patient and give nutritional hints about therapeutic diet.
- Perform diet counseling at the time of discharge.
- Taste food before service to the patient.
- Go for ward-rounds to patients when informed about new admission.
- Formulate Manual, Guidelines and SOPs for proper functioning of the Nutrition and Dietetics department.
